'Teaching not up to mark', CBSE plans big push to fill learning gaps

To address learning gaps and ineffective teaching, CBSE is launching an 'assessment centre' by June 2024. The centre will provide teachers with tools to design effective assessments, track student progress, and improve teaching practices. CBSE will also introduce a reward system for teachers who develop high-quality assessment items.
