TTD sculptors restore broken finger of 1000-year-old Lord Rama idol at Tirupati temple

A 1,000-year-old Lord Rama idol at Tirumala temple, damaged in 2021, has been restored. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) undertook 'Anguli Sandhana Samprokshana' rituals to fix the broken finger of the Panchaloha idol. A team of sculptors, guided by temple priests and Agama experts, meticulously repaired the idol, restoring its sanctity after a two-year delay.
