Following a crushing defeat in the Maharashtra assembly elections, the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction and its MVA allies are raising concerns about EVM reliability. 'Saamana', the Sena mouthpiece, questioned the 'bumper lucky draw' victory of the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance, citing discrepancies in vote counts and EVM origins. Thackeray urged defeated candidates to seek verification of EVMs and VVPATs.
