Srinagar records season's coldest night at minus 2.1 degree Celsius
Thursday, 28 November 2024 Srinagar experienced its coldest night of the season with temperatures dropping to minus 2.1 degrees Celsius. Shopian was even colder, recording minus 5.5 degrees Celsius. The weather is expected to stay dry until Friday evening, with a chance of light rain or snow in higher reaches until December 1.
A heartbreaking road accident in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir, has claimed the lives of three brave Indian Army soldiers. The soldiers were traveling on the Bandipora-Srinagar road when their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge. Despite immediate medical evacuation efforts, three soldiers succumbed to their injuries. The remaining injured soldiers are receiving treatment.
