After Kolkata, Tripura hospital says it won't treat Bangladeshi patients

IndiaTimes Saturday, 30 November 2024 ()
ILS Hospital in Agartala has stopped treating Bangladeshi patients due to rising anti-India sentiments and alleged atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh. This follows a similar move by JN Ray Hospital in Kolkata. The decisions are in protest against disrespect to the Indian flag and mistreatment of minorities in Bangladesh. Other healthcare institutions are urged to follow suit.

'Time to Answer': Jaishankar Breaks Silence On Hindus Killed in Bangladesh | Key Details

In a strong response to the escalating violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, India's External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, has called on the interim government of Bangladesh to take full responsibility for protecting all of its citizens, including religious minorities. The violence, which has targeted Hindu communities, homes, businesses, and temples, has sparked widespread concern, particularly after the Durga Puja festival attacks. India has repeatedly raised the issue with the Bangladesh government, urging them to ensure the safety and security of Hindus and other minorities. Jaishankar's remarks come amid growing tensions, with reports of extremism and continued violence. The world watches as India demands justice and accountability for the attacks on its people. #Jaishankar #BangladeshViolence #HinduAttacks #MinorityRights #IndiaBangladeshRelations #DurgaPujaAttacks #ReligiousFreedom #HinduSafety #JaishankarResponse #BangladeshGovernment #ProtectMinorities #ReligiousViolence ~PR.274~ED.194~HT.334~
