Reinstate cop sacked for ‘not disclosing’ rape case: Maharashtra tribunal

Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (MAT) has ordered the reinstatement of Navi Mumbai police constable Ravindra Kolpe, dismissed over non-disclosure of a pending rape case. MAT ruled the dismissal was a misinterpretation of facts and procedures since the rape case was filed after his declaration. His services were terminated for non-disclosure despite voluntary disclosure upon joining.
