What did Nizam of Hyderabad gift as lavish wedding gift to Queen Elizabeth II?
Tuesday, 3 December 2024 In 1947, Princess Elizabeth received a stunning tiara and necklace from the Nizam of Hyderabad, crafted by Cartier and now valued at $88 million. The tiara, with detachable brooches, and the necklace adorned with diamonds, have become iconic royal pieces, currently worn by Queen Camilla following Queen Elizabeth II's passing.
Queen Camilla presented owner and trainer Barry Connell a trophy after Marine Nationale triumphed at the Cheltenham races. Her Majesty, who is Joint Patron of the Jockey Club, was joined by Princess Eugenie at the Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire.

The King and Queen gave a birthday card to a woman celebrating her 100th birthday in Middlesborough. King Charles and Queen Camilla handed Rona Grafton the birthday card in an envelope, wishing her "a very, very happy birthday". The meeting was part of their Majesties' royal visit to Middlesborough where they carried out numerous engagements.
