Chhattisgarh villagers dig path to help jumbo calf trapped in pit

Villagers and the forest department in Raigarh district successfully rescued a two-year-old elephant calf trapped in a muddy pit. The herd of 41 elephants had passed through Chilkaguda village, where the young calf got stuck. Local residents alerted the authorities, and the calf was rescued within 30 minutes and released back into the forest.
