Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) staffer shared data with seat-blocking scamsters: Bengaluru cops

An employee of the Karnataka Examinations Authority disclosed data of eligible students to outsiders, who then blocked engineering seats by using those students' credentials without their knowledge. This resulted in unused seats being transferred to colleges' management quotas. Ten people were arrested in connection with the scam.
