2,200 companies moved out of Bengal in 5 years, Rajya Sabha told
Thursday, 5 December 2024 Over 2,200 companies, including 39 listed entities, shifted their registered offices from West Bengal in the last five years, according to a junior minister's parliamentary response. TMC criticized the inquiry as biased, highlighting the BJP's alleged anti-Bengal stance, while also questioning the omission of new company registrations during the same period.
Reacting to the CAG report on the money spent on renovating the Delhi chief minister's residence,' AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Monday said BJP speaking about corruption was like 'Osama Bin Laden preaching non-violence.'
Singh was responding to BJP questioning Arvind Kejriwal on the source of funds used for the renovation. BJP has termed the CM's residence as Kejriwal's 'Sheeshmahal.'
