India's 1st integrated waste management city to come up in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur is set to become India's first zero-waste city with an Integrated Waste Management City cum Learning Centre. Slated to open by September 2025, the facility will process all waste types, produce CNG and charcoal, and serve as a model for sustainable waste management across the country, including eight neighboring urban areas.
