Simultaneously, Ramakrishna Math and Mission appealed to the Bangladeshi interim government for the release of jailed Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das. Nagendra Math and Mission also rallied in Kolkata, demanding relief for victims of the recent violence in Bangladesh.
