BJP's Rahul Narwekar set to be Maharashtra assembly speaker again, opposition will be present during appointment

BJP's Rahul Narwekar filed his nomination for a second term as Speaker of the Maharashtra Assembly, accompanied by CM Fadnavis and Deputy CMs Pawar and Shinde. With the MVA not fielding a candidate, Narwekar's election is unopposed. The opposition is demanding the deputy speaker's post, citing a tradition broken in 1999.
