Singareni to reserve 2 of its coal mines for women staff
Breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) is set to allocate two coal mines, one underground and one open-cast, exclusively for women workers in Telangana's Godavarikhani coal belt. Starting January 2025, the open-cast mine will be operational, followed by the underground mine in March or April.
