Sikh preacher booked for 2012 rape-murder

Patiala police booked Sikh preacher Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale on charges of rape and murder of a woman in 2012 following a Punjab and Haryana HC order. The FIR, based on the deceased's brother's 2012 complaint, includes charges of criminal intimidation. Police issued show-cause notices to former and current officers for negligence in the delayed investigation.
