ZSI discovers new species of parasitic wasps in Nagaland

Researchers from the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) have discovered a new parasitic wasp species, Ceraphron initium, in Nagaland, and four other species in the Western Ghats. These findings highlight the rich biodiversity of India and the importance of these insects in maintaining ecological balance and promoting sustainable agriculture. Further research will explore their molecular and bioecological aspects.
