AI-powered vans to tackle 1.5L mt solid waste during Maha Kumbh

Prayagraj is testing AI-powered vans to detect trash piles and alert sanitation workers during the Maha Kumbh Mela. Officials aim to improve waste management from the 2019 event by recycling and promoting eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastic. Over 1.5 lakh metric tons of waste are expected during the 45-day festival.
