'Will they worry if I go missing': UP man fakes own kidnapping to evaluate family’s love, gets arrested
Saturday, 21 December 2024 () A 22-year-old man from Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested after falsely reporting his own kidnapping to gauge his family's love. Anoop Patel called the police helpline, claiming abduction near Gomtinagar Railway Station. Police tracked him to Para, where he confessed to fabricating the story. He had traveled to Lucknow for an exam and wanted to test his family's affection.
