Monday, 23 December 2024
Five water treatment plants in Delhi have reduced water production due to high ammonia levels in the Yamuna river, impacting several areas across the city. The pollution level is currently at 5 ppm, reducing water production by around 100 million gallons per day. DJB officials and Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj attribute the increased pollution to industrial waste from Haryana.
