5 soldiers die, as many injured as Army vehicle falls into J&K gorge

An Army vehicle transporting soldiers of the 11 Maratha Light Infantry veered off the road and plunged into a gorge near an advanced post in Poonch, J&K, resulting in the death of five soldiers and critically injuring five others. The accident occurred around 5.40pm as the vehicle was en route to Balnoi along the LoC in Mendhar.
