Rs 12,500 crore sanctioned for 4 new highway projects ahead of Delhi polls
Friday, 3 January 2025 () Union minister Nitin Gadkari announced four new highway projects worth Rs 12,500 crore to mitigate traffic congestion and air pollution in Delhi and adjoining areas. These projects include links to Delhi-Katra, Delhi-Dehradun, and a tunnel from Shiv Murti to Nelson Mandela Road. Rs 1,200 crore was also approved from Central Road and Infrastructure Fund.
