Andhra Pradesh may lose second spot for longest coastline to Tamil Nadu

Andhra Pradesh may soon lose its position as the state with the second longest coastline in India to Tamil Nadu. This change comes as a result of new measurement methods for coastal accretion and erosion. Gujarat still holds the longest coastline. The national coastline has increased significantly, and the new methodology incorporates complex coastal formations.
