Zoo officials in Surat's Sarthana Nature Park and Zoo are giving Ayurvedic aphrodisiacs to their male white tiger Gaurav to boost his mating interest with Garima, his female companion. Despite Garima showing signs of sexual maturity, Gaurav has been disinterested. The Ayurvedic supplement, including safed muesli, shatavari, and ashwagandha, is used to enhance his vigour.
