Identify 'illegal' madrassas, track down their funding, Uttarakhand cops told

Uttarakhand state police are to identify and verify 'illegal madrassas' following the CM's orders. Local intelligence units will gather data on their legitimacy and funding, compiling lists for the minority affairs department. Currently, there are 415 registered madrassas with around 50,000 students.
