HC nixes central, Karnataka rules on green energy generation & purchase
Karnataka High Court invalidated Centre and Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission rules on green energy citing conflicting with the Electricity Act-2003. The court emphasized Parliament's authority under the Constitution but reminded that new laws cannot override existing ones.
