Dhanraj, arrested for killing his wife Deepa in Dabri, intended to murder her friend due to suspicions of an affair. Influenced by online videos, Dhanraj attempted to dismember his wife's body but failed. He hid the body in their home before fleeing. The case came to light on January 3.
