Maha Kumbh 2025: Railways puts services on track to cater to 1.45 crore passengers
Thursday, 9 January 2025 () Indian Railways is ready to handle the influx of 1.45 crore passengers for the 45-day Maha Kumbh starting January 13. Over Rs 3700 crore has been spent on infrastructure in Prayagraj, including the running of 13,000 trains and setup of over 500 ticket points. Enhancements include color-coded shelters, multilingual systems, medical rooms, and a gaming zone at Prayagraj Junction.
