With over 40 million flyers in 2024, Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) enters 'larger airport' club

Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru saw a footfall of 40.7 million passengers in 2024, a 9.5% increase from 2023. KIA added 11 new domestic and four international routes. Cargo operations also grew with 4,96,227 metric tonnes handled. The airport is strengthening its position as a major hub for both passenger travel and cargo logistics.
