Cons put doctor, sr citizen in 'digital arrests', dupe Rs 30 lakh in Uttar Pradesh

Cybercriminals, posing as law enforcement officers, have digitally arrested a doctor and a retired man in Lucknow, manipulating them into transferring Rs 13.4 lakh and Rs 30 lakh, respectively. These incidents, involving fake investigators and fraudulent claims, are the city's first digital arrest cases of 2025.
