Customs department at Delhi airport seize 257 grams of gold hidden in screwdriver
Wednesday, 15 January 2025 Customs officials at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport have seized 257 grams of gold hidden inside a screwdriver from a woman's luggage. The gold, valued at Rs 18.62 lakh, was found during a detailed examination following suspicion raised by X-ray images. Both passengers involved, a 20-year-old man and the woman on a wheelchair, were intercepted and are under investigation.
