The Union Cabinet has approved the construction of a third launch pad at Isro's Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. Estimated at Rs 3,984.8 crore, this new pad will enhance India's space capabilities, supporting future human spaceflight missions and advanced launch vehicles. Completion is expected within 48 months.
