Chhattisgarh ex-mantri got Rs 2cr every month from liquor scam: ED

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has alleged that Congress MLA and former excise minister Kawasi Lakhma played a pivotal role in a liquor scam in Chhattisgarh. He reportedly received Rs 2 crore monthly from an illegal liquor syndicate, contributing to a state exchequer loss exceeding Rs 2,100 crore. Lakhma is accused of using crime proceeds for real estate investments and promoting FL-10A licenses for the cartel's benefit.
