Manu Bhaker’s grandmom, uncle killed as car rams their scooter
Sunday, 19 January 2025 Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker's grandmother and uncle died in a road accident in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana. The accident occurred shortly after she received the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award. Both victims were on a scooter when a speeding car hit them. The driver fled the scene. Police are investigating the incident.
