Kolkata’s century-old iconic Art Deco cinema hall coming back to life

A century-old cinema hall in Kolkata, renowned for its Art Deco architecture, is being restored by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation and CREDAI. Initially an opera house, Roxy Cinema is being refurbished to retain its historic exterior while adapting the interior for modern use. The restoration is welcomed as a significant move in conserving the city's heritage.
