South Africa insists on progress report, stalls cheetah relocation

The relocation of 18 cheetahs from South Africa to Madhya Pradesh, scheduled for February 2025, may face delays due to South Africa awaiting progress reports from India. The project, set to introduce cheetahs to Kuno National Park, is also stalled due to pending CITES import permission required for the translocation.
