Retd cop runs over puppy 4 times, says he is hard of hearing, didn’t hear cries

A 72-year-old retired UP Police officer, Sukhveer Singh, was detained after a video showed him running over a puppy multiple times. The incident, which led to the puppy's immediate death, was amplified by TMC MP Mahua Moitra on social media. Singh was booked under the Animal Cruelty Act but later released.
