Shift to safer locations, India tells expats in strife-hit Congo

The Indian embassy in Kinshasa urged Indian nationals in Bukavu to leave immediately due to the advancing M23 rebels, who have taken Goma and are nearing Bukavu. With around 1,000 Indians in Congo, the embassy recommends an emergency plan and avoiding travel to Bukavu, emphasizing the opening of commercial routes, airports, and borders.
