Harassed by locals, jumbo chases earthmover, damages watchtower in West Bengal's Damdim

A wild elephant from Apalchand forest caused damage in Damdim after being harassed by locals and an earthmover. Injured and in musth, it damaged a watchtower before being driven back to the forest using firecrackers. Authorities plan to file an FIR against the earthmover driver and hold a high-level meeting for crowd management solutions.
