A man named Baban Mallick was arrested for allegedly strangling his wife, Pinku Biswas Mallick, to death over Saraswati Puja rituals in Liluah, Howrah. The incident occurred after a quarrel between the couple on Sunday night. Pinku's family reported the attack, and Baban was assaulted by in-laws and neighbors before being rescued by the police.
