Karnataka HC nixes poll bribery case against ex-minister

The Karnataka High Court quashed proceedings against former minister Maluru Es En Krissnaiah Setty under Section 171E of IPC. The court found that merely stocking rations without evidence of distribution or receipt does not constitute an offence under the bribery law.
