Flight which crash-landed many dreams: Massive debts, social scrutiny await US returnees in Gujarat

A flight carrying 33 illegal immigrants from the US landed at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad. These deportees, among 104 Indians sent back by the US, included 13 women and eight children. They were taken to their native places in Gujarat in police vehicles, with tension and apprehension evident as they exited the airport.
