Police in Sambhal district have uncovered a massive insurance fraud involving stolen identities, forged death certificates, and fraudulent claims worth hundreds of crores. The scam, operated by two men with links to multiple insurance companies across eight states, exploited terminally ill individuals and even insured the dead.
