26 days on, Maha Kumbh footfall surpasses 40-crore milestone

The number of devotees attending the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj has crossed 40 crore, with the event still having 19 days remaining. Despite a stampede incident, attendance figures continued to rise, and the mela is expected to gather more than 50 crore devotees by its conclusion on February 26.
