Mumbai police have launched an inquiry following a complaint against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, comedian Samay Raina, influencer Apoorva Makhija, and the organisers of India’s Got Latent over alleged offensive remarks made on the show. The complaint, filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women’s Commission, accuses them of using obscene language and making derogatory comments about women to gain popularity. Allahbadia has since issued a public apology, admitting his remarks were inappropriate. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and former NCW Chief Rekha Sharma have condemned the incident, calling for action.
