Bharat Biotech arm Biovet gets CDSCO nod for lumpy skin disease vax for cattle
Monday, 10 February 2025 () Biovet, part of Bharat Biotech, has received approval from the CDSCO for its innovative lumpy skin disease vaccine, BIOLUMPIVAXIN, for dairy cattle and buffaloes. The vaccine, developed using a strain from ICAR-NRCE, can produce 500 million doses annually and will be crucial for India's dairy sustainability and disease eradication efforts.
