Delhi results: After emphatic win, Mustafabad MLA Mohan Bisht proposes changing name to Shiv Vihar
Sunday, 9 February 2025 () BJP's Mohan Bisht, the newly-elected MLA from Mustafabad, proposed renaming the northeast Delhi constituency to 'Shiv Vihar' or 'Shiv Puri' citing the Hindu population majority. Bisht, who defeated AAP's Adeel Ahmad Khan, argued that the name change reflects the demographic majority in the area. He emphasized that the final decision will align with BJP leadership.
