SC refuses to test validity of state laws against cow trafficking and slaughter

The Supreme Court declined to entertain a PIL addressing violence against Muslims by cow vigilante groups, citing existing guidelines for police in mob-lynching cases. The court suggested aggrieved parties move to jurisdictional High Courts for redressal and discussed issues regarding statutory provisions and victim compensation.
