Rape survivor can say no to motherhood: Allahabad HC

Allahabad HC ruled in favor of a 17-year-old rape survivor, allowing her to terminate her 19-week pregnancy under the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act. The court stated that a sexual assault victim has the right to choose whether or not to become a mother.
