Just a single cold wave day: This Delhi winter was warmer than usual

Delhiites experienced a warmer winter season this year. October recorded the highest temperatures in 73 years and January was the warmest on record in eight years. Feeble western disturbances and deficient rainfall caused higher temperatures. December logged above-average rainfall making it the wettest in 27 years. However, January recorded just 6.6 mm of rainfall, ending with a 65% deficit.
