Andhra Pradesh on alert as bird flu spreads to new areas

Avian influenza has spread across five villages in Andhra Pradesh, affecting several poultry farms and leading to 5.20 lakh fowl deaths. The state government has declared containment zones and started culling operations with 1.50 lakh birds culled so far to control the outbreak.
